What the PoE shipping calculator covers
- Final Target: the total quota you want to reach for each crop, ore, or Dust entry.
- Already Shipped: historical cargo that counts toward that final target.
- This Shipment: the cargo you are preparing now, kept separate from historical progress.
- Remaining: the direct quota left and the projected amount left after this shipment.
- Shipment value: current per-unit values for ore, bars, and crops, plus progress through practical 1.2M and 2M planning stops toward larger goals.
- Ore units: keep targets in raw-equivalent quota units while entering this shipment as bars or raw ore. Smelting is 1 ore → 1 bar; separately, each shipped bar provides 5× raw-ore quota credit.
- Dust guidance: match Dust efficiently to base goods value before diminishing returns.
How to use the Kingsmarch shipment planner
- Choose the resources included in the final quota and enter each Final Target.
- Enter what has already been shipped, then add only the cargo planned for This Shipment.
- Review the projected shipment value, value remaining to the selected goal, and per-resource amounts that reach it with your entered Dust unchanged.
- Use the optional goal buffer and safe rounding controls when you want conservative, easier cargo numbers.
- Confirm the final shipment in Path of Exile. The game panel remains the source of truth for rewards and league-specific behavior.
Crop, ore, and Dust guidance
Final ore targets and Already Shipped values stay in the raw-equivalent quota units shown by the game. Smelting consumes one ore to produce one bar. Separately, a shipped bar counts five times toward its ore quota. The 5× figure is a port-quota multiplier, not a 5:1 smelting conversion. Crops contribute their current per-unit shipment values and return equipment-oriented rewards after the 3.28 reward swap. Ore and bars return currency-oriented rewards. The chosen port changes reward categories, so the planner does not promise exact drops.
Thaumaturgic Dust is fully efficient until it matches the shipment's base goods value. Dust beyond that point has steep diminishing returns; the projected total uses the community-tested square-root estimate above the matching point.
Practical shipment-value milestones
The planner highlights 1.2M and 2M as practical community planning stops so ordinary shipments have reachable goals. These are not guaranteed reward unlocks: returns still vary with cargo, port, random outcomes, and league changes. Current PoEDB Kingsmarch game data lists a 5M maximum shipment value. The separate 8M option is retained only as a matched-Dust stretch strategy built from 4M base goods plus matching Dust.
Important: This tool helps you prepare quotas; it does not predict exact rewards, port distance, crew bonuses, rerolls, gold costs, or live game state.

Frequently asked questions
What does the Kingsmarch Shipping Planner calculate?
It calculates base goods value, Dust-adjusted projected shipment value, progress through practical 1.2M and 2M planning stops, and resource quantities that reach the selected goal with entered Dust unchanged. It also shows a separate matched-Dust route and remaining port quotas.
Does the planner simulate Kingsmarch rewards?
No. It is a preparation and quota planner, not an exact reward simulator. Use the in-game shipment panel to confirm rewards, thresholds, and any mechanics that change with a league.
How much Thaumaturgic Dust should I send?
Compare Dust with the base goods value of your cargo. Dust is fully efficient up to the matching point; above it, the planner estimates diminishing returns. Check both your available stock and the projected shipment value before confirming cargo in game.
Is the 8M target a hard game cap?
No. It is an optional community stretch strategy built from 4M base goods plus matching Dust. The planner defaults to the more reachable 1.2M practical stop and also offers 2M, the current 5M game-data ceiling, and a custom goal. The in-game panel remains the source of truth.
How does the planner handle ore and crops?
Final ore targets and historical progress stay in raw-equivalent quota units. Ore in This Shipment can be entered as raw ore or bars. Smelting consumes one ore per bar; separately, each shipped bar contributes five raw-equivalent units of port-quota progress while using its own shipment value.
